Miranda Lambert recently opened up about an unexpected and emotional moment she shared with her husband, Brendan McLoughlin, as they wrote a song together. The country music queen revealed that the experience not only showcased McLoughlin’s hidden talents but also pushed him to tap into a more vulnerable side — something that didn’t come naturally to the former NYPD officer turned Lambert’s partner.

Interestingly, the couple’s songwriting chemistry didn’t blossom overnight. According to Lambert, they first started tinkering with music during the pandemic lockdowns, co-writing a few small songs.
