The Platinum Jubilee celebrations last June were intended to be a joyous occasion, honoring the late Queen Elizabeth's 70 years on the throne. But behind the pomp and ceremony, simmering tensions between Prince William and Prince Harry were palpable, captured in a series of subtle gestures and icy glances.
As the royal family emerged from St. Paul's Cathedral after the service, lip reader John Cassidy caught a revealing exchange between Prince William and Kate Middleton.
While Kate remarked on how well the service went, William's response was brief and businesslike: "Yes, perfect." He then pointedly instructed Kate to wait for the crowd to clear before they could proceed to their car.
"Wait for that to move, then we can go," William said, according to Cassidy.
Body language expert Judi James, who analyzed the footage from the event, observed a clear tension between the estranged brothers. While Harry appeared anxious and withdrawn throughout the service, William seemed to deliberately avoid any interaction with him.
