Hold your horses, y'all, because Miranda Lambert's on a roll!
Fresh off the release of her "Postcards from Texas" album – a collection of heartbreak anthems and honky-tonk bangers that’s already got everyone talkin' – the queen of country sass is turnin' her attention to her other true love: furry friends in need.
That's right, folks, Miranda’s tradin' in her stage lights for leashes and kibble (well, not really, but close enough!) to host a benefit concert for MuttNation, her beloved animal rescue organization.
From Honky-Tonk Angel to Guardian Angel
Now, we all know Miranda's got a heart bigger than the Texas sky, and she’s been rescuin' dogs since she was a kid. But in 2009, she took her love for furry friends to a whole new level by co-foundin' MuttNation with her mama, Bev.
Their mission? To make sure every dog and cat has a safe, loving home. And they're not just talkin' the talk, folks. Over the past 15 years, MuttNation has helped thousands of animals find their forever families.
Gettin' Rowdy for Rescue: Music for Mutts
To celebrate their 15th anniversary, MuttNation is throwin' a honky-tonkin' hoedown for the ages – and trust me, y'all don't wanna miss this one.
Mark your calendars for October 5th in Nashville, because Miranda and a whole posse of her music-lovin', dog-huggin' friends are takin' the stage for Music for Mutts.
