Jelly Roll Surprises Young Fans at Lemonade Stand and Leaves a Huge Tip
Jelly Roll, the country singer known for hits like "Need a Favor," made a heartwarming gesture that has everyone talking. While preparing for the kickoff of his tour in Salt Lake City, Utah, he stumbled upon a group of young entrepreneurs selling lemonade on the side of the road. What happened next turned an ordinary day into an unforgettable memory for these kids.
On August 25, 2024, as Jelly Roll passed through West Valley City, he noticed a small lemonade stand run by local children. Always one to show kindness, he decided to stop and support their efforts. The lemonade was priced at a mere 50 cents a cup, and when the star ordered drinks for his entire group, the total came to just $2.50. But Jelly Roll had something much bigger in mind for these budding businesspeople.
Instead of paying the exact amount, Jelly Roll handed over a whopping $700 in cash, much to the children’s amazement. “You keep that tip, okay baby? You go buy yourself something really nice because you worked hard,” he told them. The kids, understandably shocked and thrilled, couldn’t believe their luck. Their mother, Wendy Gardunio, shared the touching moment on social media, expressing her gratitude and disbelief that such a famous figure would stop by their humble stand.
