Leave it to a couple of frisky cows to inject some unexpected humor into a royal engagement! King Charles and Queen Camilla found themselves in a fit of giggles during a visit to Jersey, thanks to a rather amorous display from two bovine companions.
The King and Queen were attending the Jersey Expo Event, showcasing the island's finest offerings, including a group of seven Jersey heifers gifted to the King.
The plan was for these prized bovines to be transported back to Highgrove, the King's country estate. However, two of the heifers decided to spice things up a bit.
As Charles and Camilla chatted with attendees, one of the heifers, feeling a surge of, shall we say, enthusiasm, decided to mount her pen-mate – right in front of the Queen!
Camilla, initially taken aback, couldn't contain her amusement, bursting into laughter at the rather intimate display. Charles, ever the stoic royal, maintained a poker face for a moment before cracking a wry smile and continuing his conversation as if nothing out of the ordinary was happening.
Footage of the hilarious encounter quickly went viral, with social media erupting in a chorus of laughter and witty comments.
