Talk about a career change! Brendan McLoughlin, better known as Mr. Miranda Lambert, has traded in his NYPD badge for a songwriting credit...and a potentially hefty paycheck! While Miranda's been belting out country hits for years, it seems her hubby is ready to cash in on the family business.
Their whirlwind romance started like a scene straight out of a country song: She was a country music superstar, he was the NYPD officer assigned to her "Good Morning America" performance. Sparks flew, vows were exchanged just three months later, and the rest, as they say, is history.
While Miranda continued to dominate the country music charts, Brendan quietly retired from the police force in 2020.
But it seems this former cop wasn't content with just being Mr. Miranda Lambert.
Miranda recently sent fans into a frenzy when she revealed that Brendan had snagged a co-writing credit on her upcoming album. The song in question? A catchy little ditty called "Dammit, Randy."
"He won't stop talking about it," Miranda joked during a recent Instagram Live.
