Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner’s relationship has been one of Hollywood’s most talked-about romances. The two first met in 2000 on the set of "Pearl Harbor" and developed a friendship. Their bond grew stronger while filming "Daredevil" in 2002, where they played love interests. Despite being in other relationships at the time—Garner with Scott Foley and Affleck engaged to Jennifer Lopez—they couldn't deny their chemistry and eventually began dating publicly in 2004.
Their relationship quickly turned serious, leading to an engagement in April 2005 and a wedding in June of the same year. The couple welcomed their first child, daughter Violet, in December 2005, followed by Seraphina in 2009 and Samuel in 2012. Despite their busy Hollywood careers, they always prioritized their family, often being seen together at public events and family outings.
By 2015, cracks began to show in their seemingly perfect marriage. Rumors of Affleck’s infidelity with their children’s nanny, Christine Ouzounian, and his struggles with alcohol addiction became public. Although Affleck denied the affair, the couple announced their separation that summer, after a decade of marriage.
