Country music queen Miranda Lambert, known for her fiery vocals and even fierier love for a good whiskey, has reportedly swapped her signature tequila shots for something a little sweeter: the dream of motherhood.
The news came as a shock to fans who have long associated the singer with her "take-no-prisoners" attitude and anthems about getting down and dirty (and maybe a little tipsy).
After all, she's the same woman who sang "I'm a whiskey drinkin', fast talkin', no time for sleepin', stay out all night, love to fight, kiss on the mouth, turn me around, girl with a guitar, gonna take you far, I'm a firecracker, I'm a hellcat," in her song "Kerosene."
But it seems the fiery hellcat has found herself drawn to a different kind of flame: the warmth of family. And that, according to sources close to the singer, means saying goodbye to her beloved booze.
"Mommy Dearest," But Without The Poison?
"It's like a whole different Miranda," one source, who insists on remaining anonymous, told In Touch. "She used to be the life of the party, but now she's all about home-cooked meals and early nights. You wouldn't believe the changes she's made, even Brendan is shocked!"
It's true, the singer has always been open about her fondness for a good drink, often incorporating alcohol into her music and persona.
