The final episode of "Young Sheldon" left fans with a poignant and unresolved ending for the Cooper family. In the aftermath of George's untimely death, each family member grapples with the loss in their own unique way. Mary, George's wife, turns to religion for solace. Sheldon, their son, detaches himself from the emotional chaos. And Meemaw, the beloved grandmother, begins to alcohol.
Meemaw’s love life has been a focus of fan speculation ever since Grandpa passed away. Throughout "Young Sheldon," Meemaw's romantic escapades were a subplot that intrigued viewers. From Professor John Sturgis to Dr. Linkletter, she navigates through a series of love interests. However, it's with Dale that she finds true happiness.Dale and Meemaw met in season three, and the rest is history between the pair. And whilst the two are still together in the finale we’re left wondering what happens to them after Young Sheldon ends.
Well, luckily for us there is a major clue left in The Big Bang Theory which reveals what the pair get up to next.
When Meemaw goes to visit Sheldon in Big Bang Theory she tells Amy that she knew “how to live with a stubborn, egotistical man… cause that was my husband.” Fans are convinced this means that Dale and Meemaw married each other after the events of Young Sheldon, and I’m really hoping it does.
