Lainey Wilson, a rising star in country music, will be making an appearance during the Season 4 finale of Yellowstone. Fans of the show can expect to see Wilson performing her song "Workin' Overtime" during a commercial break. This isn't the first time Wilson's music has been featured on the popular show, as her songs "Small Town, Girl" and "Straight Up Sideways" were included in Season 3.
Wilson is a big fan of Yellowstone and is thrilled to have her music included on the soundtrack. She expressed her excitement, stating, "When I got the call that I was gonna have a song on Yellowstone, I freaked out. It's been a huge blessing for me, and this really is introducing my music to a whole different audience."
Wilson's music was discovered by Yellowstone's Music Supervisor, Andrea von Foerster, who visited Nashville specifically to find new artists for the soundtrack. Von Foerster praised Wilson's talent, saying, "We like to have bold women on the soundtrack, and she fits the bill. She's just amazing."
Wilson also praised Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan for his support of new artists. She shared, "What he's created with the show Yellowstone is something special. The show reminds me so much of my childhood and the cowboy that raised me."
Other artists that have been featured on the Yellowstone soundtrack include Honey County, Cody Johnson, Ryan Bingham, Jason Isbell, Tim McGraw, Jackson Dean, The Panhandlers, and Zach Bryan. The inclusion of Wilson's music on the soundtrack allows her to reach a wider audience and further establish herself as a rising star in country music.
