The life of a country music superstar isn't always glitz and glamour. Carrie Underwood, known for her powerful vocals and captivating stage presence, recently opened up about a surprising challenge she faced during her second pregnancy: pregnancy insomnia.
The Sleepless Journey: A Common Struggle
Underwood revealed that she struggled to get a good night's sleep while expecting her youngest son, Jacob, now 13 months old. The experience led her to write a significant portion of her book, "Find Your Path: Honor Your Body, Fuel Your Soul, and Get Strong," during those late-night hours.
"At the time I was writing a lot of the book, I was pregnant, and I had the worst pregnancy insomnia, which actually ended up being a blessing because that's when I wrote the majority of the book - the window from, like, two am to five or six in the morning," she shared during a Q&A at the Country Radio Seminar.
