The ingredients needed are white chocolate chips, unsalted butter, lemon zest and juice, heavy cream, vegetable oil, and optional yellow food coloring and sprinkles. The truffle mixture is made by combining melted chocolate chips, butter, zest, and juice with heated cream. The mixture is refrigerated until set. The truffles are then coated in melted chocolate and chilled before serving. Leftover truffles can be stored in the fridge for up to a week or frozen for up to 3 months. The truffles can be customized with yellow food coloring, sprinkles, or additional lemon zest. Vegan alternatives can be attempted but will require finding vegan white chocolate and substituting cream and butter with vegan counterparts.
