Sparks flew in Sin City, but not the kind you'd expect from a glitzy Las Vegas residency. Country music firecracker Miranda Lambert brought her show to a screeching halt, laying down the law on concert etiquette and igniting a social media firestorm in the process.
The offense? A group of fans dared to snap selfies during her heart-wrenching ballad, "Tin Man."

Imagine: the lights are low, a spotlight shines on Miranda as she pours her soul into the lyrics of "Tin Man," and… click, click, click… a group of women in the front row are too busy documenting the moment for Instagram to actually experience it.
Adela Calin, one of the women involved, told local news that Miranda stopped mid-song and called them out.
"These girls are worried about their selfies and not listening to the song," Miranda reportedly said, her voice dripping with annoyance. "It's the song I poured my heart and soul into, and they're worried about a selfie? Sit down!"
Calin described feeling mortified. "It was like being back in school and getting scolded by the teacher in front of everyone," she admitted. "The whole vibe of the concert changed after that.
