Country music darling Miranda Lambert, never one to shy away from a little fun, sent fans into a frenzy this week with a simple trip to Target. While promoting her brand new album, Postcards from Texas, the 40-year-old singer gave fans a glimpse into her down-to-earth personality and a surprising blast from the past.
Sporting a casual vibe with braided pigtails, a dark blue tee, jeans, and her signature blue bandana, Lambert took to Instagram to document her Target adventure.
"We're going to go buy my record right now at Target," she announced, her infectious energy radiating through the screen.
True to her word, the video followed Lambert through the aisles of the retail giant, her down-home charm on full display. Like a kid in a candy store, she gushed about her usual Target essentials: "When I usually come to Target, I get an ICEE and popcorn.
.. Getting a bunch of the s--t that I don't need," she confessed with a laugh. "I like the school supplies. I don't want to go to school but I want the supplies... pencils, the sharpener, trapper keepers."
Finally reaching her destination – the music aisle – Lambert proudly displayed the Target-exclusive version of Postcards from Texas. "This is the exclusive Target cover," she beamed, pointing out the unique design.
