Hold onto your cowboy hats, country music fans, because things in Miranda Lambert's world just got a little shady – and it all went down on Instagram. The fiery singer, known for pouring her heart and soul (and maybe a little whiskey) into her music, has fans buzzing after a recent post that seems to hint at trouble in paradise with hubby Brendan McLoughlin.
The drama unfolded when Lambert posted a clip of herself performing a sassy new tune titled "Alimony." The song, with lyrics like "Just know as soon as you get caught / They’ll all be good as mine" and "If you’re gonna be a dumba**, / Honey, I hope you remember the alimony," has all the makings of a revenge anthem.
And the timing couldn't be more suspicious.
Lambert's post comes on the heels of rumors that McLoughlin was spotted getting a little too close for comfort with some female fans at her Nashville bar, Casa Rosa. Witnesses claimed to have seen him "grinding" on women and even engaging in some handsy behavior.
While McLoughlin and the woman in question have denied any inappropriate conduct, the internet – and Lambert's fiercely loyal fanbase – aren't letting this one go so easily.
