Jensen Ackles. Just the name conjures images of smoldering eyes, a devilish grin, and that signature swagger. The "Supernatural" star practically invented charm, right? Well, hold your horses, folks, because his "The Boys" co-stars are singing a different tune – or rather, a chorus of playful complaints about just how aggressively nice he is.
The internet nearly exploded last week when Erin Moriarty, a.k.a. Starlight, seemingly threw some major shade at Ackles during a recent interview. The clip went viral faster than you can say "Carry On Wayward Son."
"Oh, Jensen!" Moriarty sighed, a mischievous glint in her eye. "Jensen was just like, underwhelmingly, just not… a kind person."
The world gasped. Was Dean Winchester, our beloved demon hunter, secretly a Hollywood monster? Had the squeaky-clean image been a carefully crafted facade all along? Social media was ablaze with speculation.
#AcklesCancelled? Not quite, darlings.
Turns out, Moriarty's "shade" was just a masterclass in deadpan humor. She, along with Karen Fukuhara (Kimiko) and Claudia Doumit (Victoria Neuman), quickly revealed the real problem: Jensen Ackles is simply too damn perfect.
"He's so kind. Aggressively kind," Moriarty confessed, erupting into laughter.
