Talk about a fashion faux pas! Sabrina Carpenter, pop princess and queen of catchy break-up anthems, found herself in an unexpected situation at the Louis Vuitton Menswear show during Paris Fashion Week: completely ignored by her seatmate, British rapper Central Cee, who seemed far more interested in conquering levels on his Nintendo Gameboy than engaging in any real-life socializing.
Picture this: the hottest fashion event of the year, a front-row seat next to one of music's rising stars… and he’s glued to a retro gaming device. That’s the awkward encounter Sabrina experienced as she found herself seated next to Central Cee, who greeted her with a cursory nod before promptly turning his attention back to his beloved Gameboy.
"I would've been mortified!" quipped one fan on social media.
"Sabrina deserves better than to be ignored for a Gameboy, even if it is vintage Louis Vuitton."
While Central Cee might have missed his chance to connect with the "Nonsense" singer, Sabrina’s real-life leading man, Oscar-nominated actor Barry Keoghan, wasn't far from anyone’s mind.
