A Ulysses Path of Hope:
In a touching interview, Nightbirde shared a profound personal anecdote about the profound meaning of her ring, which bore the inscription “Ulysses.” She explained, “God said what he said, right? I have this ring that said Ulysses. And it's a, it's a Greek mythology story of a man who had to go on a journey. And he knew that when he got to a certain place that he would be in so much pain that he would try to kill himself.
And he would beg to die.
And so they he had his friends tie him to the mast of the ship so that he wouldn't be able to drown himself. And there's something called the Ulysses path that I've made with the lord to say, no matter how hard it gets and no matter how much I'm begging to die. Begging to end it, don't let me give up.
