Why Sheldon’s Cameo Was Put on Ice
According to Holland, the decision to forgo a Christmas episode wasn’t taken lightly. "One big holiday was enough," he explained, adding that having two major family-centric episodes so close together risked overshadowing the storylines. While this might make sense from a production perspective, it leaves fans disappointed, as a holiday-themed cameo by Iain Armitage as Sheldon would have been a natural fit for the season.
