Carrie Underwood is back, and she’s bringing the sparkle. The country music queen recently took the stage on Today to showcase a taste of her upcoming album, Denim & Rhinestones (Deluxe Edition), and it’s safe to say the show was a dazzling affair.
Underwood, clad in a shimmering green romper, delivered a set filled with her signature powerhouse vocals and a generous dose of glitz and glam.
She showcased tracks from the deluxe edition, including the catchy “Take Me Out” and the heart-wrenching “Out of That Truck,” along with "Church Bells" from her 2016 album, Storyteller, and the iconic "Before He Cheats."
“I didn’t want it to end, so we decided to add some tracks that kind of fit in the family of Denim & Rhinestones,” Underwood explained.
“It’s just more denim, more rhinestones, more fringe, more sparkles, more all of it.”
The deluxe edition of Denim & Rhinestones is set for release on September 22 and will feature six new tracks. The album will include the two singles Underwood performed on Today, the recently shared “Give Her That,” along with other new songs like "Drunk and Hungover" and "Damage.
