Lucille, a dedicated vanilla salesman, faced rejection after rejection as he pursued his goal of reaching a sales quota. Just when he managed to hit his target and was ready to celebrate with his coworkers, fate took a tragic turn. Amidst a chaotic scene where a police officer tackled an armed thief, Lucille was struck by a stray bullet. As he lay there, knowing his life was slipping away, he wished he could have celebrated his achievement with everyone.
Miraculously, a deity took pity on him and reincarnated him into a new world, one filled with magic and monsters. Lucille, bewildered and disoriented, found himself in this fantastical realm with dragons soaring above him. The deity appeared and provided him with basic knowledge of this new world.
A New Beginning
Lucille was introduced to the world’s RPG-like system, which included character stats and skills.
Opting for the healer role—better suited to his supportive nature—he chose skills that would help him assist others rather than face monsters head-on. With only three silver coins in his possession, Lucille set out to make a new life for himself.
As he wandered through the city, he stumbled upon the corpse of a dragon, causing him to panic and flee. Determined to live a long life this time, he reached the city’s front gate, where entry required both an ID and a toll.
