Miranda Lambert, known for her fiery spirit and powerful vocals, proved she’s not afraid to call out inconsiderate concertgoers. During a recent performance at her Las Vegas residency, the country queen stopped the show mid-song to scold fans who were more focused on their selfies than her music.
As Lambert belted out her hit song "Tin Man," a sea of cell phones rose, capturing the moment instead of truly experiencing it.
“It’s pissing me off a little bit,” Lambert declared, her voice laced with frustration. “We’re here to hear some country music tonight. I’m singing some country damn music!”
The crowd erupted in applause, clearly agreeing with her sentiment. Lambert, with a hint of defiance in her eyes, launched back into the song, silencing the selfie-snapping fans.
"She was on fire!” one fan shared on social media. “I love that she didn't let those disrespectful fans ruin her performance."
This wasn’t the first time a performer has expressed their displeasure with fans’ phone obsession. The “selfie incident,” as it’s being dubbed, comes amid a concerning trend of concertgoers throwing objects at performers on stage.
