Miranda Lambert, the reigning queen of country music, is known for her raw, honest lyrics that often delve into the depths of heartbreak. But her latest album, Palomino, takes a different turn, inspired by a fictional road trip across America. And this summer, she's turning that fantasy into a reality!
Trading Tour Buses for Campers: Embracing a New Perspective
For the first time in her career, Lambert, the reigning ACM Entertainer of the Year, has cleared an entire month from her jam-packed schedule to embark on a cross-country adventure. She's ditching the tour buses and hopping into her trusty Airstream camper, accompanied by her husband, Brendan McLoughlin, and her friends, Gwen Sebastian (her backup singer) and her husband, who also have their own camper.
"It's so far from Nashville that I never had enough time to like, get there," Lambert explained, her voice brimming with excitement.
They've mapped out a 20-day journey through Colorado, Utah, Montana, and Wyoming, allowing two days in each location.
"I'm very, very excited about that," Lambert shared. "It's such a different way of seeing the world."
