In the magical world of sorcery, Ray's journey begins with a heart-wrenching moment of trauma. As he sits beside the graves of his fallen comrades, a flashback reveals the bloody demise of his friends. Overwhelmed by grief and anger, Ray’s latent Ice powers manifest uncontrollably, creating a massive ice dome that envelops the battlefield. When the dome finally vanishes, the area is covered in a thick layer of ice, with Ray standing solemnly beside a female comrade’s lifeless body.
Years later, Ray embarks on a new chapter of his life as he begins his first day at Arnold Academy of Sorcery. The grandeur of the academy impresses him as he navigates through the campus using a map. His path crosses with Wanda, a fellow student, when he smoothly catches her as she stumbles. Their encounter causes Wanda and her friends to blush, but the situation takes a turn when they realize Ray is the only student from an ordinary background.
