Starz has cast the four lead roles for the prequel series of "Outlander." Production has begun in Scotland for the 10-episode series titled "Outlander: Blood of My Blood." Harriet Slater, Jamie Roy, Hermione Corfield, and Jeremy Irvine have all been chosen for the show. The series will focus on the lives of Jamie's parents in the 18th century Scottish Highlands and Claire's parents in WWI England. Showrunner Matthew B. Roberts expressed excitement for fans to discover and fall in love with these new characters and their stories.
"Blood of My Blood" was greenlit by Starz in January 2023, while the final season of "Outlander" is in production.
