Liz Waytkus, a cat enthusiast from New York City, has been caring for a colony of feral cats in her neighborhood. She has successfully neutered and found homes for many of them. However, some cats were deemed too feral to live indoors, so they remained in the colony. Recently, a problem arose as the community faced relocation. Relocating cats is challenging as they are more attached to their territory, and Liz was concerned about the older cats who have spent their whole lives in the garden.
With the help of her friend Thomas Zoranski, all the cats were trapped and moved to a new location. Saying goodbye to her feline friends was difficult for Liz, as she cherished the memories of caring for them. Liz's dedication gives hope to other stray and feral cats that they may encounter someone like her in their outdoor journey.
