As Hailey prepares to welcome her first child with Justin, she admits that her bond with her own family isn't as close as it once was.
"I'm not super close with my family at this point in my life because I feel like I'm very independent," she shared candidly. "I'm my own individual now, and I've built my own family."

Hailey attributes her independent streak to her early career in modeling, which launched her into adulthood at a young age.
Leaving home at 17 to pursue her dreams in New York City forced her to grow up quickly.
"I started traveling the world, making my own money. I got my own apartment and had to learn how to live on my own," she recalled. "That pushed me into adulthood kind of quickly."
