Jen Koscheka was surprised to find three kittens in a bear's den at a Wild Animal Sanctuary in Denver, Colorado. One of them was Ollie, a blind white kitten. The staff typically traps these cats for spaying or neutering, rehoming the friendly ones, and releasing the others into safe areas of the sanctuary. Unfortunately, the mother of the kittens was missing. Despite this, Ollie quickly stole Jen's heart. She felt an immediate bond with him and described him as pure love.
Ollie is special to her, and she believes that he is her 'soul cat.' Jen believes that even though unique kittens like Ollie may have challenges, such as eyesight or other physical abilities, they make up for it with a big heart. She thinks that everyone should experience that kind of love.
