Chris Pratt's upcoming sci-fi movies need to reverse his string of disappointments in the genre, which has lasted for almost a decade. While his flagship franchise Guardians of the Galaxy contains sci-fi elements, it exists within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and doesn't reflect his success outside of it.
His once-promising Jurassic World franchise has declined in quality with each installment, and his fan-favorite series The Terminal List received a low 40% score on Rotten Tomatoes.
