Zendaya is set to grace the big screen this week in the romantic sports film Challengers, directed by Luca Guadagnino and written by Justin Kuritzkes. Starring as Tashi Duncan alongside co-stars Art (Mike Faist) and Patrick (Josh O'Connor), the movie delves into a love triangle involving a professional tennis player and former rivals.
Originally scheduled for release in September 2023, Challengers will now hit UK cinemas on Friday, April 26 due to Hollywood disruptions. Zendaya's character Duncan is described as a fierce competitor both on and off the court.
Ahead of the film's release, the Spider-Man actress shared an interesting anecdote about the lead actresses in the Spider-Man series also portraying tennis players on screen.
