Jim Caviezel has officially agreed to play the lead role in "Outlander," a sci-fi adventure film being directed by Howard McCain for the Weinstein Co. Sophia Myles and Jack Huston are currently in talks to join the cast.
The plot follows a man who hails from a distant galaxy and crash-lands on Earth during the Viking era.
Producers include Chris Eberts, Kia Jam, Chris Roberts, and Barry Osborne, with Don Carmody, Andreas Grosch, Karen Loop, and John Schimmel as executive producers.
