Nikki Reed, the actress best known for her role in the Twilight saga, has traded in the glitz and glamor of Hollywood for a more grounded lifestyle. These days, she's focused on raising her two children with husband Ian Somerhalder on their sprawling farm far from the paparazzi's prying eyes. And while she's embracing the "perfectly imperfect" moments of motherhood, she's also making waves in the world of wellness and environmentalism.

A Farm Life: Rooted in Nature, Fueled by Purpose
Reed's idyllic farm life is a far cry from the whirlwind of red carpets and photo shoots she used to navigate. "Getting back into the rhythm of the earth and getting our kids outdoors in a world where we're all living indoors, in front of screens and blue light everywhere, we need some red light," she explained in an interview with E! News. "We need some sun, we need some fresh air."
Raising her almost 7-year-old daughter and 11-month-old son on the farm, Reed has become a vocal advocate for getting children back in touch with nature.
"I can't personally envision a life without that connection to plants and soil," she shared. "In this day and age, we're getting closer and closer to falling into full tech worlds. No matter how hard we try to shelter our kids from that, we're growing up in the age of tech, and I think the only way to really combat that is through nature."
