Miranda Lambert, the firecracker of country music known for her powerhouse vocals and take-no-prisoners attitude, recently opened up about a struggle many of us can relate to: burnout.
During a candid conversation on Bunnie Xo's podcast, Dumb Blonde, Miranda revealed that last summer, she hit a wall.
"I didn't realize what it was until I was like, 'I think this is what they call burnout’ — just from not taking a break or a long enough one," she confessed.
Think about it: years of relentless touring, recording, and navigating the often-chaotic music industry will take a toll on even the toughest cowgirl.
"Just a couple of days at a time just wasn't enough for like, the amount of busyness," she explained, referencing her jam-packed schedule, which included wrapping up a Las Vegas residency last summer.
Even Bunnie, a fellow musician and wife to country star Jelly Roll, was impressed by Miranda’s stamina. "You've been in the industry, what, 24 years? So for you to just have reached burnout last year? You're a savage! Like, you are an animal!" she exclaimed.
The good news? Miranda is taking steps to prioritize her well-being.
