That's right, before she was selling out arenas and singing about heartbreak and tequila, Miranda Lambert was honing her skills as a pint-sized private investigator – all thanks to her parents' unconventional profession.

During a recent podcast appearance, Lambert spilled the tea on her wild upbringing, revealing that her childhood was more "Harriet the Spy" than "Hannah Montana.
"
"My parents were private investigators," Lambert casually dropped, as if it were as commonplace as being raised by accountants or librarians. "They even recruited me for a few cases."
But this wasn't just sorting mail or making coffee runs. Lambert's parents threw her right into the action, even when she was barely old enough to form full sentences.
"Once, when I was three, I had to make friends with another 3-year-old to get dirt on the target parent," Lambert shared, a mischievous glint in her eye.
