Forget those airbrushed Hollywood starlets starving themselves for the red carpet. Country queen Miranda Lambert is keeping it real, declaring that a little "fat and lazy" is perfectly acceptable… in moderation, of course.
In a world where size zero reigns supreme, Miranda Lambert is a breath of fresh, tequila-scented air.
The "Gunpowder and Lead" singer is known for her powerhouse vocals, her sassy lyrics, and a body confidence that's as infectious as one of her hit songs.
"I don't care about being stick-thin," Lambert declared in a candid interview. "I don't want stuff to jiggle, but those really skinny actresses make me hungry – I see them and think, 'Honey, you need to eat!'"
And while she embraces her curves, the country star is also honest about the pressure to look good in the spotlight.
"I feel my best when I'm a toned, not flabby, size 8," she admitted. "Women come up to me and say, 'You're beautiful and confident, and that makes me feel I can be, too.'"
But even Miranda Lambert isn't immune to the siren song of holiday treats. The singer confessed to packing on a few extra pounds after overindulging, and she quickly realized those extra slices of pecan pie were affecting more than just her jeans size.
