Meet Mimori, the human equivalent of a wet sock. Traumatized by a childhood more brutal than a metal mosh pit, he perfected the art of invisibility. High school? Just another stage where he played the role of "background extra."
Until now.
It all started with Oam Ma, the class jerk with a face only a mother could love (and even she struggled).
Oam Ma, being the beacon of maturity he was, decided to steal the class president, Souu’s, book. Why? Because chaos, obviously.
Now, Souu was a saint, a ray of sunshine, and way too good for these hooligans. Naturally, no one dared challenge Oam Ma. Except Mimori, who surprised everyone, probably even himself, by asking for the book back.
Oam Ma choked on his laughter. This nobody dared challenge him? Before things could escalate, Takutu, the resident cool kid with an ego bigger than Texas, stepped in.
“Quiet down,” he ordered, because even he couldn’t handle Oam Ma’s brand of annoying.
Oam Ma sulked, returned the book, and proceeded to entertain himself by kicking the ever-so-patient Yasu. This went on until the teacher, a man who’d clearly lost all hope for humanity, finally told him to knock it off.
Peace reigned, momentarily, until the school bus screeched to a halt, not at school, but in front of…a goddess?
