Plankton, a feline who survived kidney failure, finally found his forever home after spending over 6 years in a shelter. Plankton was rescued from a hoarding situation along with over 100 other cats and arrived at the Ulster County SPCA as a kitten.

Despite his medical condition, no one seemed interested in adopting him due to the lifelong medical care he required. However, Ashlee and Ann, who had lost their beloved dog to renal failure, saw Plankton as the perfect addition to their family.
