Hold onto your Stetsons, folks! Miranda Lambert’s dishing out some juicy backstage secrets, and it turns out, even country music royalty goes to school sometimes.
We all know Miranda's a powerhouse performer, a honky-tonk queen with more awards than you can shake a microphone stand at. But what we didn’t know was that she got a masterclass in stage presence from none other than Aussie heartthrob Keith Urban.
Yep, you heard right. Back in the day, before Miranda was sellin' out stadiums and writin' anthems about cheatin' exes, she was a wide-eyed newbie on tour with the "Blue Ain’t Your Color" singer.
From Honky-Tonk University to the Keith Urban School of Rock
Now, don’t get me wrong, Miranda cut her teeth in Texas honky-tonks. She knew how to work a crowd, belt out a ballad, and make sure everyone within a ten-mile radius was feelin' every single word.
But then came the Keith Urban tour.
"It was like steppin' into a whole other universe," Miranda confessed on a recent podcast, her voice full of awe (and maybe a hint of fangirl giddiness). "I was fresh outta Honky-Tonk U, and here I was, facin' the Keith Urban School of Rock."
"This Ain't No Beer Joint Band"
Miranda quickly realized that tourin' with Keith wasn’t about just singin' your heart out and hopin' for the best.
